Drowned History. What is under the Rybinsk Reservoir?

So here I am, happily researching away when I come across an interesting reference.

The town of Kholopii Gorod (Town of Serfs) was the scene of a bit of In-Fighting in the early 13th century close to the Tartarian HQ of Yaroslavl.

I find out that this Town of Serfs was near Mologa.

So I go internet searching.

Oh! Quelle Surprise!

In the early 1940’s, the town of Mologa was drowned. It is now somewhere under the 1,770 squares miles of the Rybinsk Reservoir.

I see.

If you make a mistake with your lies on paper, all you have to do is DROWN the evidence.
