Decoding the horoscope of the Zodiac in the cards of the Major Arcana Tarot

3. Death.

This card contains astronomical symbols and elements of the horoscope.

On the card “Death” is a skeleton with a bow in his left hand and an arrow in the right, around the skull is wrapped a white ribbon-shawl.

Death-skeleton is depicted almost along the central axis of the card, and its gaze is directed at the observer. Neither the death-skeleton itself, nor its attributes cross the boundary of the map.

It is known that in the visual arts death is most often represented as a human skeleton, and thanks to the research project “New Chronology” it became known that death in astronomy was associated with the planet Saturn and the zodiac sign Scorpio.

Therefore, we can assume that on the card “Death” in the form of a skeleton is symbolically depicting the planet Saturn or the zodiac sign of Scorpio. If the human skeleton symbolically depicts the constellation Scorpio, then for the planet there is no symbolism on this map.

I will suggest that death-skeleton symbolizes the planet Saturn, and the constellation symbolizes its attributes bow and arrow, as well as a white ribbon-scarf.

Noteworthy is this last detail image. A white ribbon, belt or scarf is wrapped around the frontal part of the skull of death-skeleton and the end of the bow.  Based on the image of this ribbon-shawl, it resembles the curved horns of a ram (ram), and the location is on the head. It can be assumed that this attribute can symbolize the constellation Aries.

Another attribute of the death-skeleton, a bow and an arrow can also be a bright symbol of the constellation of the zodiac, namely the constellation of Sagittarius.

Thus, given the analysis of images on the card “Death”, we can draw a paradoxical conclusion that the planet Saturn is located in two constellations Aries and Sagittarius, but this, according to the laws of astronomy, cannot be.

I will make an assumption that one of the attributes of the death-skeleton does not refer to the symbolic image of the constellation, but is a religious (Gospel) or secular (associated with the Visconti family – Sforza) symbolism.

According to the gospel events, death is closely related to the constellation Aries. It was under this constellation that they crucified Jesus Christ, and after that they began to call it the Lamb (ram) of God.  Jesus Christ was born under the constellation Sagittarius.

I will suggest that the card “Death” depicts the planet Saturn located in the constellation Aries, and this card is symbolized by the martyred death of Jesus Christ born under the constellation Sagittarius.

However, when calculating the date recorded using the Zodiac, both variants of the location of the planet Saturn will be checked, both in the zodiac sign Aries and in the zodiac sign Sagittarius.

According to the study, the “Death” card of the Tarot deck “Pierpont Morgan – Bergamo” can symbolize the planet Saturn in the constellation Aries. The gospel symbolism of this card can be associated with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ under the constellation Aries.
