Forgive me – but every time I read about the Inquisition I can’t help but see Monty Python :o)
Be Serious Now.
OK.
How is this for a Hidden History thought?
The Inquisition as it has come down to us today is a terrible thing. A real stomach-churning moment in history.
But what if the “history” as we know it was completely different? Quelle Soopreeze.
New Chronology posits the following:
The Inquisition of the 15th/16th century reflects “Mongol”/Tartarian events of the 13th to 16th centuries where the Empire fought hard and ruthlessly against the consequences of the very real distortions of 12th century ascetic Christianity.
These distortions are called the “Bacchic Cult” of the Church….which is all over our history books and churches.
Sheela-na-gig?
This free and easy licentiousness led to epidemics of venereal disease which spread far and wide and quickly all over Western Europe.
The Empire’s answer was to wipe out the infections. Hence the Inquisition.
There is much more to this subject but I keep bumping into that bloody date 1492 and Spain.
I will leave that for another day.
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.
LOL!
