5. The Lovers.

This card contains astronomical and secular symbols, but does not contain elements of the horoscope.

The card “Lovers” shows a young man and woman in expensive clothes with golden hair, shaking hands. Above them, on the pedestal is a blindfolded Angel with golden hair.

The Angel’s right hand is raised high up. He holds either a spear or an arrow, which he sends to the man. In his left, lowered hand, he also holds a spear or an arrow.

There are many gold and red shades in the clothes of the man – symbols of wealth. He looks at the woman, takes a step in her direction and they shake hands. To shake hands with this man, the woman has removed the glove (a symbol of aristocracy) from her right hand.

The woman stands motionless, looking at the man.

According to the research of “New Chronology” and N.A. Morozov’s analysis of the elements of the zodiac horoscopes: “… the man who holds his hand high is a very expressive symbol of the summer solstice. Often (but not always) he stands in a boat. In his other hand, he may have a planetary staff, since this represents the Sun, one of the planets of ancient astronomy. ” (“New Chronology of Egypt. In the “Lovers” card instead of the man, the “angel with golden hair” stands on a pedestal and holds his right hand high up. This is also a very expressive symbol of the summer solstice.

According to the study, the “Lovers” card of the Tarot deck “Pierpont Morgan – Bergamo” can symbolize the point of the summer solstice (the Sun at its highest point) in the constellation Gemini. The lovers on this card symbolize the constellation of the twins, and the Angel on the pedestal with a high hand raised the Sun. The secular symbolism of the card lies in the fact that a woman of an aristocratic family married a man from a low class.
