BLOW IT UP.
Here Endeth the Lesson.
I seem to have found a theme-for-today :o)
Interesting photos below showing what REALLY happened to the Acropolis in Athens. And maybe an answer to the question WHY?
(All pictures taken from Dark Ages in Medieval History – New Chronology)

Here is an 1869 photograph of the Parthenon with a Medieval Ottoman tower to the right.

1860’s photo again showing an Ottoman Tower next to the Athena Temple. Notice the brickwork. Identical?

1865. At the height of the restoration. The tower is still there but those mountains of rubble are the remains of Ottoman/Christian buildings. Yes….you read that right!

The Acropolis as we know it today – minus inconvenient medieval Ottoman Towers and Christian buildings that don’t fit into the Glorious Ancient Greek Narrative.
Now – who were those naughty, intrusive Christian/Ottomans again?
Oh, yeah. They’d be that lot who built a Great Empire all over our World but that had to be destroyed, hidden, denied but (unfortunately for the evil ones) NOT FORGOTTEN by us today.
Viva Tartaria :o)
