Weathering the Weather

I was talking to family in Wales yesterday. They have been in the midst of torrential rain, thunderstorms etc. Apparently Cardiff had flash floods.

Well – this rainy stuff is heading to us on the east coast today/tomorrow.

Shoot. Here, in my tiny part of the world, in the past 10 years we’ve had minus temperatures that make the Arctic feel balmy, flood upon flood (sand-bagging houses in water at knee height,) snow up to the eyebrow, scorchio hot for weeks on end, gale force winds and…an earthquake.

Yep. A bloody earthquake!

If anyone, anywhere still doubts that someone’s playing merry mayhem with our weather, think again.

This is Not Natural!

Dang. My wellies have holes in them.

Good job I can swim.

Sigh.
