In 1951 an excavation started in the modern Novgorod.
They dug deep and uncovered 28 layers of old wooden pavements. Dendrochronology (based on Scaligarian/Romanov chicanery) dated these pavements. 10th to 15thcc.

But for some reason – the Experts with a capital E, could not answer one question.
What happened to the pavements that must’ve been laid from the 15th to 19/20th cc?
Did they evaporate?
Just saying :o)
