O, What a Tangled Web we Weave when First we Practise to Deceive!

Walter Scott certainly got that one right!!!

Time and again I have come across discrepancies in the mainstream historical narratives. These are usually passed off as “scribal errors” or “lost in translation” or…..

The web was/is so VAST and complicated that it was inevitable for the odd mistake or thousand to creep in. Gender- bending, date anomalies, places, names. The list goes on.

One of the most glaring is the perpetual confusions between Christ and John the Baptist.

Think about it :o)
