Christopher Marlowe has fascinated me for a very long time.
There is something a bit IFFY about him. A lovely little murder mystery for us all to fall into. Strange Elizabethan death.
He’s been On The List for ages!!
The LIST is growing faster than I can think.
Pooh!
:o)
“Faustus: Stay, Mephistopheles, and tell me, what good will
my soul do thy lord?
Mephistopheles: Enlarge his kingdom.
Faustus: Is that the reason he tempts us thus?
Mephistopheles: Solamen miseris socios habuisse doloris.
(It is a comfort to the wretched to have companions in misery.)”
“Money can’t buy love, but it improves your bargaining position.”
“Had I as many souls as there be stars, I’d give them all for Mephistopheles!”
Plain Sight?
