Spent many a childhood hour in all winds and weathers on this beach. Fascinating rock pools :o)

 

Although my far ancestors were from the Highland and Islands, my Dad was born and bred in the Royal Kingdom of Fife. It was all because of the Act of Proscription! 

The family were half an hour or so north of Edinburgh and often crossed the Forth Rail Bridge by train. Sigh.
