But it’s of interest to me on a few levels.
In 1927, an incomplete set of playing/tarot cards was found in the Topkapi, Istanbul. I’m reading up the literature – apart from the main book written about this which is currently for sale on Amazon at nearly £300. Tut!
Anyways.
Using the mainstream history timeline, these cards were “made” about the same time as the Italian Renaissance started but few people can figure out why.
