Had to go for an eye test today. Sigh.

But the optometrist was one of the nicest men I’ve met in a long time.

He asked me what I did for a living (LOL)

Anyhoo – he’s a history buff too and we got talking about the history of medicine and nature and modern pharmaceuticals and….!

At the end he shook my hand and said it was a pleasure to meet me. Aaaah! :o)

Meanwhile – Back in the REAL (?) World

 

P.S. A very long time ago, I wrote an article for a friend about the smell of the Middle Ages.

Unbeknownst to me – it became part of the National Curriculum in America and Australia and ?

I didn’t know whether to cuss or sue :o)
