12 + 12 = 24 = 6

6 + 6 + 6 = 18 = 9

Turn 6 upside down and you get

9

9 + 9 = 18 = 9

18 + 18= 36 = 9

9 + 9 + 9 = 27 = 9

36 + 36 = 72 = 9

etc

YIN AND YANG?

9 + 6 = 15 = 6
