Siegfried’s sword was called Nothung.

And if I remember correctly (!) Magnus Barelegs’ sword was called LegBreaker in English. Forgotten the olde Norse name.

Anyhoo – Siegfried slays Fafner the Dragon with Nothung. The only one to ever accomplish such a huge deed.

Nothung was Wotan’s Hope, Siegmund’s Birthright and finally Siegfried’s Destiny.

Known as The One With No Fear, Siegfried had reforged this sword through sheer inspiration – not mastery or studied technique.
