I’ve had the Flu twice. Once as a child about 6 years old. Once when I was pregnant with my youngest.
I remember an ongoing fight with family and my refusal to take antibiotics when I was pregnant!!!!!!
Having spent Xmas Eve burying Mum and Xmas Day cooking for a Dad and a Brother – I wasn’t feeling my strongest.
Anyhoo- enough of me. Back to me.
I learned this a long time ago. Whenever you feel those “symptoms” don’t rush to the GP for a Flu Shot. Do this…
Fill a bath with hot water. As hot as you can stand, or hotter.
As its running pour in 3 drops of lavender essential oil, two drops of tea tree oil and a handful of Epsom/Dead Sea Salts.
Relax.
20 minutes minimum.
Turn on the hot tap if the water cools. And yes. You will sweat!
Go straight to bed.
Repeat for 2/3 evenings.
It only takes one go for me now :o)

If the family has Flu, get in the bath together just the once.
