I love this Agatha Christie book. But – it’s one of the very few David Suchet Poirot episodes that I wasn’t so fond of.

Anyhoos.

Ever writer knows about the Three Acts. They form every single story.

A part of the craft that MUST be studied and understood.

If I may be so forward (!?) I’ll suggest right now that, in our lifetimes…

…Act 1 has been played by the baddies.

…Act 2 has been played by the not so bad baddies but still not actually the “goodies.” Even though they all thought themselves brilliant.

…Act 3 is now beginning to unfold.

The dénouement.

 

The beginning of THE END.

 

dénouement : the end of a story, in which everything is explained, or the end result of a situation.
