I make No Claims of knowing the truth about this marriage but yesterday I watched the video below and it reminded me of the book – Diary of Jack the Ripper.

I bought and read that when it was first published. 1993 or thereabouts. Unfortunately I gave it to someone else and now it’s gone from my shelves. Anyhoos…

My memory is a bit fuzzy here, but Florence’s trial caused a change in English law. Something to do with the Court of Appeal and overriding a Jury’s decision.
