I have no idea whatsoever if my musings here about “The Blood Countess” are correct or not but I’ve always had an uneasy feeling that she was NOT quite what history has told us. Like Vlad.

It irks me, somewhat. (Which is my polite way of saying something very unladylike!)

P.S. Her surname is pronounced Baht-oree, methinks ?
