Just wanted to say – we got one of these about 3 weeks ago to go on top of our multi-fuel stove/fire/burner.

What a revelation. A few months back I was kindly invited to an OAP’s house in the village. In her 70’s but the Mum of a boy who was in my class at QEGS and has bought the house next to his Mum with wife and kids.

Anyway – she had one of this on her woodburner. Mmmmn, thought I. Your cottage is very warm. Why is my house so blinking cold?

 

Oh. I’ve been told to rest today. But being frail and feeble and sick, I still lit the burner. When the cast iron heats up the fan goes mental and blows warm air everywhere. Even up. From here to my son’s room above (from which we removed the carpets 3 or so years ago)

The gaps in the floorboards are working????
