Patterns

I was taught to knit at Inverbrothock School, Arbroath. Aged 6.

Little did I know that this would set me up for a life of seeing and decoding patterns.

Fast forward a decade and a bit and I was trained as a Police Investigator.

And always, in the background, I was interested in astrology, mythology, murder mystery, poetry, art, music, tapestry, numerology, crochet etc etc etc.

All these have ONE thing in common.

PATTERNS

When reading a very complicated knitting pattern for an Aran sweater, there is ZERO room for error.

When investigating a CRIME, there is ZERO room for error.

When reading the movements of the celestial bodies, there is ZERO room for error.

What is there, is there ?
