Aphrodite is one of the 12 Greek Olympian Gods/Goddesses. Her roles contain the realms of love, beauty, marriage, fertility and she is also the patroness of sacred prostitutes

This goddess is probably better known to most by her Roman name, Venus, though this is but one of her many incarnations. She has also been called :

• Astarte/Ashtoreth
• Ishtar
• Tymborychos – grave digger
• Apostrophia – she who turns away
• Anosia – the unholy one
• Androphonos – man killer
• Pasiphaessa – the far shining Queen of the Underworld
• Epitymbidia – she upon the tombs
• Kallipygos – she of the beautiful buttocks
• Ambologera – she who postpones old age
• Morpho – the shapely
• The Senior Moirae – Fates

 

Aphrodite was said to be the grandmother of Aeneas of Troy. The fertility goddess of Pathos. And, the goddess of the city of Athens.

In Syria, where Greeks recognised her Oriental nature, the Phoenicians worshipped her as Astarte/Ashtoreth in the form of a fish. The Phoenicians also took her cult to Cythera – her supposed birthplace – hence her surname, Cytherea.

 

 

This is the Mainstream Version of Aphrodite/Venus but to me she shouts the role of Empress from the Tarot, as the Empress rules all of Aphrodite’s aspects. So , in a strange leap in research, I keep going back to the Empress Irene, wife of Isaac, mother of Andronicus I Comnenus, aunt of Tamar of Georgia.

New Chronology equates Irene with Mother Mary, The Virgin Mary which makes a lot of sense to me going by all the research roads that I’ve been down.

So – my conclusion here HAS to be…

 

…Anyone who thinks that the Phoenicians were the Root of ALL Evil in our world today, what they are actually doing is disrespecting, big time, the Mother of Christ, the Saviour.
