How long does it take (on average) for a Bill to become an Act and an Act to become a Law?

I’ve NO IDEA. But – doesn’t this process involve the Commons. The Lords. And the Queen’s Assent?

Some Bills go round and round for decades and never even make it to an Act never mind a Law.

And yet – how did all these new LAWS we are under now make it through all that procedure in days?
