During my unexpected early morning dash (?!) to Lincoln Hospital, I was forced to wait for ages in the car park.

Right opposite the hospital, and right in front of me, was the building above. Lincoln Prison.

I’ve stared at it too many times over the years and wondered about the TRUE history of this building.

It looks a little too familiar and ……. !
