Prepping Sunday Lunch

For the first time in a few years, we’ve got a leg of lamb on the bone for lunch tomorrow.

My glass pepper grinder was smashed this week so I’m doing it the old fashioned way – in my large, heavy mestle and portar….sorry…pestle and mortar.

Who needs to pay thousands for a personal trainer ?

P.S. An ex-Army colleague became my UK Office Manager. He’d left the first wife, Ruth, and married a Canadian who was beyond HORRIFIED that we ate lamb.

Is this the same phobia for all North America? A hatred of roast lamb, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper and rosemary from the garden ?

Really?

That’s a genuine q about something which has puzzled me for years :o(

P.P.S. Why did the creator give us molars and an amazingly effective digestive system ?
