Rain. Rain. Rain!

Sometimes it gets so dark that I have to put the light on. What month are we in ?

Anyway. On days like this I think ahead to bad weather jobs and today I’m planning the next winter decorating project.

When we moved in, I wanted every room repainted and was able to afford Farrow and Ball paint. So I had a mad/happy six months.

Ten years later, it all needs doing again.

But there are a few problems. I still adore, love, want… those pale Scandinavian colours that F&B do but –

a) All is Waaaay Beyond Budget now.

b) I’ve just remembered how many rooms we have. 23. Including 3 in the attic, hall, stairs and landing and a cellar.

c) I’m 10 years older!
