I just nipped quickly into town and parked in the market place by a big notice.

“As of 15th June, all markets will now be open.“

Yippeee.

As the place has been a designated Market Town since 1243, a huge part of local life disappeared lately.

And best of all : The last Saturday of every month is the Local Farmers’ Market.

Fresh, local, free-range.

Cheese. Farmhouse bread. Handmade Lincolnshire sausage. Herbs. Eggs. Flowers. Plants. Veggies.
