This is where I sit most mornings. In PJs, Dressing Gown, Slippers. Around dawn. Drinking my first coffee.

It’s my fave place at the moment. That mahoosive hazelnut tree gives shade in the blazing sun and shelter in the pouring rain. Well – a bit of shelter from the rain.

So there am I. Sitting. Daydreaming. Drinking coffee. Listening to the dawn chorus. In the pouring rain. And…

…Enter stage right, just by the step ladder, is a RAT. Dragging a dead rabbit about twice as big as itself.
