River Ebro

I’ve been researching the River Ebro in Spain, the delta of which is within easy sailing distance of Egypt.

This is where Scota and Gaythelos supposedly landed in the B.C. era.

Following the course of the Ebro takes you through Aragon (where in the early 13th c Marie de Montpellier married Peter II, King of Aragon!) and upwards North West to Coruña, Galicia where the couple built a small town called Brigantia.

From Coruña, it is an easy sail to Ireland.

Would it really take four generations (about 120 years) to make this trip? I ask myself !
