I have mentioned several times that my “sense” (for want of a better word) of history stops around 1745ish.

I’ve never been interested in studying the Georgians and Victorians. But – as you may’ve noticed – I have recently been bumping into (as in I don’t pick them, they pick me) many videos like the one below.

I’m watching this and trying to work out why I’ve suddenly been flung into the 19th century and a little thought came.

This is BS!

There is NO WAY that any tribe or clan would EVER do this kind of thing. A child was a child and always welcomed.

WHY have we all been programmed to accept this kind of history. To accept that killing children has always been #normal?

I’m very close to a woman in her late 70’s who never knew her mother because (her mother) had given birth to an “illegitimate” child in the 1940’s(my friend) and had the girl taken from her minutes after birth.

This friend of mine experienced EXACTLY the same as her mother had done…but in the 1950’s. She gave birth aged 13/14 to an “illegitimate” child, fathered by one of the MANY Uncles that her adoptive parents used to have around the house day and night. Her daughter was whisked away too, minutes after birth. Did SHE, this 3rd generation, go through the same trauma in the 1960’s? ? ?

Really? Do YOU believe that anything about these horrors are BASED on Historical FACT?
