Anyway : I’m remembering now why I don’t like and have never felt the need (before now) to study the Victorian period.

This one got me because I live in an early Victorian building. And whilst I love a splash or two of William Morris or Burne-Jones or any Pre-Raphaelite colours, the majority of my house is Scandinavian peasant in hue and decor. I.E. Pale but Interesting :o)

P.S. No wonder so many women in these times had a “Fit of the Vapours.” What with the wallpaper and corset combo, they had no chance!!
