I half watched a yt video today that made me spit feathers!!!

It mentioned Iolo Morganwg and then dismissed him straight away with the very long-running MS History sentence…“but he faked every antiquarian document he used.”

I beg to differ! No surprise there.

If you don’t know already, I’ve spent many years researching 11th/12th cc Welsh History and have used Iolo’s “fake” antiquarian documents more than once.

I still use them now. Especially The Coelbren y Beirdd aka Bard’s Alphabet aka Coelbren Alphabet……..which he supposedly FAKED too.

Rewind. Repeat.

The Coelbren Alphabet was used to translate “ancient” Etruscan pottery.

Like so many True Historians who’ve had the absolute privilege to work with ORIGINAL Historical documents, Iolo was – and still is today – damned by the oh-so-familiar Academia SCREAM of Fake.

There is too much evidence now showing the similarity between the Coelbren/Welsh alphabet and the remaining traces of Slavic/Greek/Russian/Scandinavian/Gaelic/American/ pick your country scripts.

Shame on THEM :o(
