Throughout my life I have been cast in a teacher role.

MANY people have come to me over the years asking to be taught how to knit, crochet, embroider, quilt etc. And, without fail (!) in lesson 1 in am greeted with the words…

I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DO THAT!

Sigh. The older I get, the less patience I have. Sad but True. I just say now – “Stop. Take those words back. Say – I CAN do that.”

Everything, EVERYTHING we learn has a “learning curve.”

Step 1…Master it. Then go on to…?

Why do so many of us look at the finished product and SHOUT……I will Never etc?
