Laudanum

Henriette Marie aka Henrietta Marie. Named after her father Henri IV and her mother Marie de Medici

I slowly grew very fond of Henriette Marie as I researched and wrote about her.

She is 13 years old when I first introduced her. A beautiful, young, innocent child.

But she (mysteriously) died aged about 59 of a laudanum overdose! ! !

P.S. If you ever research HM, apparently she had a pure and glorious singing voice. Many commented on it.

P.P.S She was born (?) 25th November. A day after MY birthday and therefore a fellow SAG who would never do as she was #told :o)

P.P.P.S. She was and will always be, to me, known by her original name. HENRIETTE MARIE.
