I talked a while back about a necklace that I always wear. It was given to me by a dearly beloved after I’d lost my prized antique silver and amethyst one.

A few hours ago, in the middle of the night, I woke up to a Princess and the Pea moment. There was something lumpy on the mattress beneath me.

So I turned the light on and stared open-mouthed.

I’d been lying on the necklace that I’d lost over 5 years ago.
