Yup. She looks very much like Mary and the Holy Child but she’s NOT!
In a Catholic country, in the 15th century, Venus and Cupid were painted here. Along with all the other astrological signs.
This one represents Libra.
BUT…she could also be Mary Magdalene fleeing across the Med and landing in France with another Holy Child (?)
All three of these women share a title – STELLA MARIS!
