Disclaimer : It’s all HER fault. She’s a bAd Influence!

The best minestrone soup I’ve EVER tasted was not in Italy. My crazy World-Traveller in Crime was with me in Abu Dhabi when we dined in the hotel’s Italian restaurant. OK. If SHE hadn’t made me go all googly and giggly with the Italian waiter and the Italian Chef (who gave us FREE samples of his latest chocolate pudding creation) I’d’ve been smart enough to ask for the recipe. Hurumph.

Anyways and by the by – I’ve not been eating properly lately so, today, I cooked myself homemade Minestrone Soup (apparently – and I can’t verify this for obvious reasons – Minestrone was Leonardo da Vinci’s Fave Food Ever!)

I winged it today. Using what I had in the house. Onion, Celery, Carrot, Potato, Chicken Stock, Garlic Pepper, Salt, Dried Macaroni, Sweetheart Cabbage, parmesan and almost a whole carton of V8 veggie juice.
