I have shared Billy Connolly many times here.

I’ve loved him for ever. Because – he’s a Glaswegian tenement peasant (like my Nan, Lily.) His birthday is the same day as mine… and he’s an enlightened soul. It’s taken him many years to forgive his past.

I’ve not seen this episode before but, in the first minute, he talks about his mother without rancour or blame or anger.
