In my day – you were delivered the appropriate amount of boxes (based on measurements made of household goods – very scientific!) and left to assemble all crates yourself.
By crate 20 odd, I’d flung the screwdriver out the window and banged the screws in with the heaviest hammer I could wield.
Way back when – many an MFO box was picked up by the Removal Company covered in suspicious dark, BLOODY stains.
P.S. It is quite hard to write a full forwarding address legibly with a permanent marker on all six sides with your hands bandaged up :o)
