I watched this programme religiously when it first came out.
a) Because, from the youngest age, it has been my DREAM to restore an old, neglected building.
b) Because I adore Caroline Quentin – with whom I have a link. Himself served in the army with her cousin. He fancies her rotten and got said cousin of CQ to send her “biggest fan” a signed photo. It’s in the old pig sty/man cave. On the wall. BENEATH MY signed photo of David Suchet ! ! !
c) I know that Caroline has restored buildings to live in with her family several times so she kinda has a clue what trauma the whole dream entails.
Every programme is very enlighteneing. This is my abs fabs faves.
Mmmmn. Wonders why, me does :o)
P.S. If anyone has several million £ spare….I CAN DO THAT (?)
