In the UK Outlander, Book 1, was called Cross Stitch.

I still have the original copy that I bought in Salisbury.

This book led me to someone who is still a close friend. And she will know this FACT as well as I do.

Outlander/Cross Stitch started (or was inspired by) Jamie MacCrimmon from Dr Who, a programme that Diana Gabaldon watched and loved.

Hence JAMIE, one of literature’s most famous modern LOVERS.
