I’ve spent the past few years trying to listen to The Sherlock Holmes Complete Collection on audio – read by an American narrator and bought for a few £.

I’ve never get beyond A Study in Scarlet.

Please – Honest Truth – that is not meant to be an insult to ALL Americans…just this particular narrator. His English accent is excruciatingly bad.

So, I’ve just treated myself to 71 hours and 58 minutes of Stephen Fry narrating Sherlock Holmes : The Definitive Collection.

Happy Sigh :o)

It’s not just the fact that he is English, Fry is a man who knows the stories Inside and Out. Back to Front. Up and Down. Every Which Way But Lose (spelling intended!!)
