Poverty consciousness is the belief that there isn’t enough of anything to go around: not enough money, not enough time, not enough planning, leaders, clean air, rest, love – just about anything that you want or think you and others need, or that is important to you.

Correct me if I’m wrong (!) but most people alive here today have grown up with the influence of either grandparents/parents who grew up in times of WAR.

WAR destroys. It takes away. It annihilates. It subjugates. It belittles. It imprisons. It CHANGES HISTORY and mankind.

My father grew up in some kind of poverty. They were not “on the streets” but a family of 5 shared two rooms and ate mince, neeps and tatties. Never a penny to spare on frivols.

Let’s subvert/invert/pervert that all too human fear and add ADVERTS on a screen that promote buying the BEST, the Latest, the Fashionable. the Coveted, the ONE & Only something or other that will make you the BIG CHEESE.

You will be loved and adored and praised and worshipped if you have…Fill In The Blank.

I have the house that I’ve always dreamed of. With land. An orchard. Stables etc etc. But – it is all falling down around me.

All I ever wanted was a home and a garden and a family. Not a great deal to ask for.

I much prefer PROSPERITY CONSCIOUSNESS. I have a home and a garden and a family. Woohoo.

We all might be a bit frayed at the seams but – We don’t care :o)
