Words said by a man who had been attacked in Rome by assassins – but survived.

This man, an Italian Catholic Priest who later turned English Anglican (WHAT???) and went to London to find help from “?” for what “?” in the first two decades of the 17th century.

Like I’ve already said – Something happened around this time and it has “something” to do with the Vatican suppressing enquiring minds who were asking too many awkward questions.
