OK. I’m very miffed with where this is going :o(
I’m not a “BIBLE” person. I do NOT do Bible quotes very often. I do Shakespeare – Brevity is the soul of Wit. By the Pricking of MY Thumbs. Infamy, Infamy. Where art thou, Juliet. Words, Words, Words etc
But, I am being pushed (kicking and screaming) to here!
Luke 8.16. “No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, that those who enter may see the light.
17 For nothing is hid that shall not be made manifest, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come to light.
18 Take heed then how you hear; for to him who has will more be given, and from him who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.”
Not be made manifest or Be made manifest?
When I hear/see/read the words BE MADE MANIFEST – I think of only one book.
1897 edition How these papers have been placed in sequence will be made manifest in the reading of them. All needless matters have been eliminated, so that a history almost at variance with the possibilities of latter-day belief may stand forth as simple fact. There is throughout no statement of past things wherein memory may err, for all the records chosen are exactly contemporary, given from the standpoints and within the range of knowledge of those who made them.”
