I’ve never been a huge fan of Charles Dicken’s books. I found them difficult to read at school. Though I have vivid memories of those that we read. Great Expectations, especially. But also A Christmas Carol.

The film with Alastair Sim was showing yesterday but I didn’t watch it (I have many times in the past, though.)

It’s probably one of the more faithful-to-the-book films and a fave of mine.
