It’s taken me a few days to get my head/heart around THIS!
He is her Dad but he has also been a huge part of my life too. A conflicted but still an AMAZING man who took the time to set up a visit for me and my youngest (aged 11) to sit in and operate an RAF Jet Simulator.
He was RAF. And he loved to drive me home at 100 mph and scare the bejesus outta my teenage mind.
Anyhoo. In Jan his cancer was operable. NHS appointment March-Nov cancel/cancel/cancelled.
In December….a few days ago….. he actually got an appointment. His cancer is now so advanced that it is INOPERABLE!
His daughter is scared that she will never be able to hug and kiss him again :o(
