J-J-Jiggle IT

Like so many other people, we find January a slightly financially slightly stressful slightly month.

It’s always a j-j-jiggling act.

This month it was Council Tax or Mortgage or Dog.

As a very nice (NOT) enforcer told me last year…You can be sent to prison for up to 3 months if the court decides you don’t have a good reason to not pay your Council Tax and you refuse to do so. … If you can’t afford to make payments to your arrears, then the local authority can ask for your committal to prison.

He then added that you do NOT get sent to prison for not paying your mortgage.

NO, MATE. THEY JUST TAKE YOUR HOME AWAY FROM YOU!!!!!

This month we had a more serious priority.

Doggy has been to see the vet and now has EXTRA strength medication.

No where near the price of the mortgage but not far off the January Council Tax bill.

Homeless? Dogless? Or Prison?

I’ll take a prison sentence, thank you very much. For NOTHING!
