I have this overwhelming need to disentangle the oft quoted saying – As Above, So Below.

But it’s doing my head in because sometimes numbers DO LIE! It all depends on the source.

My little theory is that the ABOVE is not only reflected here below, but also below the below.

I’m so enmeshed in mythology and astronomy but the numbers 5, 7, 9 are important.

Pleiads/Pleiades = 7 Sisters.

Hyades = 5 or (depending on the source) 7 Sisters.

Circles of Hell : According to Dante, there are 9.

According to the Bible it is 7 as in the 7 Deadly Sins…all punishable by death.

BTW – H(y)ades is also a constellation/star cluster.

I need a considerably bigger brain to work this one out :o)
