As I’ve said before : the two parts of my family were Scottish Presbyterian and English Methodist.

Watching the video below has totally reinforced my own personal choice to NOT do “Religion.”

What both denominations share is the very DOUR side of worship. And Baptists are included in that.

All reverence and wonder is stripped from Militant British Worship. Think Puritans (?)

It’s very enlightening to know that Presbyterian/Methodist/Baptist Protestantism thrived mainly in Working Class areas…aka…It brought Fire & Brimstone Fear & the threat of Eternal Hell to the masses who did ALL the work.
