I’ve been in such a quandary for the past two years but have found MY solution now.

Ravens of Dinefwr was conceived, planned, outlined with a male protagonist/main character and a strict historical storyline.

I’ve finally worked out how to reverse this.

All the females connected to the males are NOW the focus of the story and – as timing is fluid – I’ve decided to omit every single mention of date/year. All will be season or dawn or twilight or full moon or high noon.

WHY?

Because my IRL experience has given me an amazing ability to write my characters from mine own first hand life lessons.

They were always going to embark on a hard journey. Their journey together will now be BRUTAL and UNFORGIVING. A True Survival of the Fittest.
